Things to do on the Farm

Plenty to do for all the family

There is so much to see and do on Greendown Farm we’re sure that when you are not out enjoying North Devon you’ll be exploring and playing on the Farm.

Greendown Farm is a working Farm so guests have to be careful when walking about the yards and tracks, but there are plenty of areas fenced off in which children can run free! In particular we have a huge play area with swings, old tractor, trampoline and climbing frame. There is also a big grass area ideal for a game of football or a game of cricket.

We have 75 acres of land so there is lots of areas to explore and enjoy the views and wildlife. We have two large ponds and visitors are welcome to try fishing them as they are stocked with Rodd and Roach.

Guests are always welcome to help feed the animals. In March and April we have lambs to feed and we have chickens, rabbits and ducks to feed all year around. You can also learn about the workings of the farm and the wildlife we have on the farm.

Our holiday farmhouse and tow holiday cottages also have BBQ facilities so when the weather is nice you can relax outside and admire the stunning views.
